Videoke Night Surprise

I have always been amazed at how obsessed filipinos are with videoke and singing. No filipino party is ever complete without a videoke. When we were cruising the rapids of Pagsanjan, we even heard a videoke machine blaring in the midst of those greens and water. I won't be surprised if there are areas of this country without proper waste disposal but with a TV and a Magic Sing.

Well, my boyfriend and my friends are not spared by this madness. Personally, I'm not a singer. I can dance all night but my voice will make the infant next door cry till the wee hours of the morning.

One Tuesday night, after a dinner at our newly discovered Thai restaurant, Thai Pad, we decided to go back to my place to check out movie schedules. It might be laziness to walk back to the car but for some reason, Ed just pulled out the microphone and inserted his DVD Videoke in the machine. And that's where all the fun began!

Me, not being a singer, enjoyed taking photos of each of them just enjoying every note of the song. I sang a couple of songs but I finished them before the guards of my condo building start calling me to say I'm disturbing the peace. :-)

Needless to say, I think, we as a resourceful nation, has found a non-expensive way to bond, laugh, belt out and release the stress of the whole day's work.
